Nature Comes to Camp

I hung out today with the Nature station. While the director was getting everyone ready to go on a hike, this doe decided to pass by. Everyone got real quiet and just watched. Russ has said that he's seen a few around our pop-up camper but this is the first one that I've seen.

This is Russ and Nate. They are getting all the Homesteads to say their cheers. It gets pretty loud! Nate is our Program Director. 2nd in charge after Jesse. Pray for him as He does not know the Lord. He believes that all religions have truth to them and everyone can believe what they want. He's only about 20 and in college. He is an artist and he's been knitting during his down times. He's interesting.

Anne is "helping" Scott as he puts in a new water pipe by the Dutch Oven Cooking area. That's Scott in the hole. He always has some major project going on. The kids love him - he is so kind. Really neat guy - the kind that you could just sit and talk to for hours and learn so much.

Jarod helped with a new hitching post for the horses today on Main Street. Should have seen the holes they had to dig. Anne could have stood up in them and gotten lost! This was fun though - really adds to Main Street and it will be useful for the wranglers. They always have the horses in town.
Not much else going on today. Still staying very busy. It was hot today. First time since we've been here that the camper wasn't bearable during Anne's nap time. There just wasn't a breeze like usual so Anne was too hot to sleep. Not fun. She went down early tonight.
Russ started his Bible Study with the Staff tonight. He's not back yet, I'm anxious to hear how it went. I'll let you know tomorrow. He's tired. Keep him in your prayers. He goes and goes all day. I at least get to rest when Anne naps and I cut out early to get her showered and in bed early so my days are not as long.
Well, I'm off for tonight. Until tomorrow......
Cami
